UAE: Air India Express is increasing flights between India and the Middle East as part of its winter 2026 schedule, offering up to 135 daily departures to the region.
The budget airline is adding more frequencies from key Indian hubs and focus cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Kozhikode and Hyderabad.
More Flights to UAE and Gulf Destinations
The expanded schedule covers some of the busiest India-Middle East routes, including services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha, Muscat and Kuwait City.
Air India Express will connect 23 Indian cities with 12 Middle East gateways across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE through 88 non-stop city-pair routes.
The expansion further strengthens the airline’s position as a major operator on the India-Middle East corridor.
Middle East Remains Key International Market
The Middle East continues to represent the largest part of Air India Express’ international network. During the winter schedule, the airline will operate up to 150 daily international departures to 99 destinations worldwide.
The UAE remains a major market, with more than four million Indian citizens living and working across the country.
Air India Express said the additional services are aimed at providing greater connectivity and more travel options for passengers travelling for work, family visits and leisure.
Winter Schedule Runs Until March 2027
The airline is also deploying retrofitted aircraft on several Middle East routes as part of its fleet modernisation programme.
The expanded Middle East network forms part of Air India Express’ largest-ever winter schedule, which will run until March 27, 2027.
The airline is also increasing capacity at its Bengaluru and Delhi hubs, launching new domestic routes and introducing more retrofitted aircraft across its network.
