RAYE Says She and Michael B. Jordan Are ‘Just Lovely Friends’

Global: British singer RAYE has addressed speculation about a possible romance with actor Michael B. Jordan, saying the pair are “just lovely friends.”

The comments came during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, after RAYE and Jordan were photographed together at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California in August.

Their appearance at the amusement park quickly sparked dating rumours online, with the pair seen enjoying rides together.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, RAYE dismissed the speculation, saying: “Oh no, we’re just lovely friends.”

She also revealed that the two had “been working on some things”, suggesting they could be involved in a professional project together, although she did not provide further details.

‘Friends Who Like Roller Coasters’

RAYE, whose real name is Rachel Keen, also addressed the rumours in an interview with Extra.

The singer, known for her hit Escapism., said: “No, we’re just friends who like roller coasters.”

Her comments appear to clarify that her relationship with the actor is a friendship, while leaving open the possibility of a future creative collaboration.

RAYE Says She Is Open to Love

While addressing the speculation, RAYE also spoke about her approach to relationships and said she remains open to finding love.

However, she said she is not trying to force anything, telling Entertainment Tonight that love “just needs to find you naturally.”
