Qatar Airways has announced the launch of direct flights to the Red Sea, scheduled to operate three times a week starting in October. The new route aims to strengthen connectivity between Qatar and key Red Sea destinations, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
The airline highlighted that the service will feature modern aircraft, in-flight amenities, and competitive fares to enhance the travel experience. Tourism authorities on both sides anticipate the flights will boost visitor numbers, promote regional tourism, and create new opportunities for business exchanges.
Travel experts note that this addition aligns with Qatar Airways’ strategy to expand its network, offering passengers more options for holiday and investment destinations in the Middle East. Early bookings are expected to be high, given the scenic appeal and growing popularity of the Red Sea region among international tourists.
