Dubai, UAE: Dubai-based businesses are increasingly using integrated logistics services to reach international customers, improve delivery times and expand into overseas markets as consumer expectations for fast and reliable shipping continue to rise.
Emirates Courier Express, the door-to-door shipping service launched by Emirates SkyCargo, says demand for rapid cross-border fulfilment is growing as companies seek to improve customer experience without investing heavily in their own logistics networks.
Faster Deliveries Become a Competitive Advantage
Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Cargo Commercial Development at Emirates, said delivery performance has become a critical factor in online purchasing decisions.
He noted that fast, reliable and transparent delivery helps build customer trust, reduces friction in the buying process and encourages repeat business.
The service combines Emirates’ global network with technology-enabled shipment tracking and customer support to help businesses expand internationally.
Activewear Brand Reports Fewer Delivery Complaints
Dubai-based activewear brand Squatwolf, which sells across the GCC, Europe and Australia, is among the companies using the service.
Jeethan George, Head of Operations at Squatwolf, said the post-purchase experience plays an important role in how customers perceive a product.
Since partnering with Emirates Courier Express, the company has seen a meaningful reduction in customer complaints related to delivery and transit times, particularly across key GCC markets.
Technology Helps Brands Reach International Markets
Mayple Global, a Dubai-based supply chain platform integrated with Shopify, uses a central fulfilment hub in Dubai to help brands sell internationally using a shared inventory pool.
Founder and CEO Ammar Moiz said businesses increasingly want to reach global customers without establishing separate supply chains in every market.
He explained that Mayple’s integration with Emirates Courier Express allows brands to connect fulfilment, delivery and customer support through a single platform.
Eyewear Retailer Relies on Regional Logistics
The demand for faster shipping also extends beyond e-commerce brands.
Magrabi Optical, one of the region’s largest eyewear retailers, uses the service to transport premium products across GCC markets, where delivery speed and reliability are important to customer satisfaction.
Habib Afzal, Group Logistics Head for the MENA region at Magrabi Optical, described Emirates SkyCargo as the retailer’s leading logistics partner for moving specialised luxury products to its stores and customers across the region.
Logistics Supports International Growth
The experiences of Squatwolf, Mayple Global and Magrabi Optical highlight the growing importance of logistics in international business expansion.
As consumers increasingly expect seamless cross-border shopping experiences, delivery speed, shipment visibility and reliable customer support are becoming important factors for companies seeking to compete beyond their domestic markets.
