Global: Selena Gomez has made a surprise guest appearance in the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, reuniting with Miley Cyrus for a nostalgic look back at their Disney Channel years.
The reunion has sparked excitement among fans, with clips from the special quickly circulating across social media.

Gomez and Cyrus rose to fame on Disney Channel in the 2000s, starring in Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana, respectively.
During the anniversary special, the two stars reflected on their early careers and how their friendship developed during their time on the channel.
“I love you, girl! You are the best,” Gomez told Cyrus during the reunion.
Cyrus also reflected on their long friendship, saying it was special to have known someone for two decades.

Gomez Previously Appeared on Hannah Montana
Gomez is no stranger to Hannah Montana. In 2007, she made a recurring appearance on the series as Mikayla, a young pop star who becomes a rival to Hannah Montana.
The appearance became one of the memorable crossovers from Disney Channel’s popular shows of that era.
Original Cast Reunites
The original Hannah Montana cast also came together for the world premiere of the 20th Anniversary Special.
Cyrus attended the event alongside Jason Earles, Moises Arias, Cody Linley, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Shanica Knowles.
Cyrus also paid tribute to her iconic character on the red carpet, wearing a sparkling silver gown paired with a white T-shirt featuring an image of Hannah Montana.
Hannah Montana’s Lasting Legacy
Hannah Montana premiered in 2006 and ran for four seasons before concluding in 2011. The series became a major favourite among children and teenagers and earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children’s Programme.
The show followed Miley Stewart, a teenager from Malibu who secretly lived a double life as the pop star Hannah Montana.
Its success later expanded to the big screen with Hannah Montana: The Movie, which was released in April 2009.
The anniversary special has now brought the show’s stars back together, giving longtime fans a nostalgic reminder of one of Disney Channel’s most popular series.
