Dubai: Global Village is set to return for Season 31 on October 14, bringing new cultural pavilions, restaurants, entertainment shows, attractions and a new roller coaster to Dubai.
The popular entertainment destination will open at 6pm on Wednesday, October 14. During the season, opening hours will be 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and 4pm to 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
29 Pavilions Represent More Than 90 Cultures
Season 31 will feature 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, with several changes and new experiences.
The Sri Lankan Pavilion will have its own standalone space after being part of the Bangladesh Pavilion last season. The Russia Pavilion will also expand to include Azerbaijan, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions will return with redesigned facades.
Visitors can explore more than 3,500 shopping outlets, offering products, flavours and cultural experiences from different parts of the world.
The new Season 31 Passport will allow visitors to continue collecting stamps from different pavilions, while children will have their own newly introduced Kids Passport.
Gardens, Landmarks Get a Refresh
The popular Gardens of the World attraction will return with an updated design and enhanced experience.
The Cultural Gate will feature new LED lighting installations, while the Sharjah tunnel will receive a new theme.
More Than 250 Food Options
Food lovers will have more than 250 dining options to choose from this season.
New restaurants include:
- Trabzon Turkish Restaurant
- Robo Al Sham
- Hawawshi Al Rabie
- Chicking
Three new cafés — Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café — will also join the destination.
The popular Dessert District has also received a refreshed look.
New Roller Coaster Coming
Season 31 will feature more than 200 attractions, including arcade games, family entertainment and thrill rides.
A new roller coaster called Tokyo Rush will be introduced later in the season. The ride will feature sharp turns, high-speed sections and a loop.
Several popular attractions from the previous season will also return, including The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City.
40,000 Shows Across the Season
Global Village will stage around 40,000 shows during Season 31.
A new stunt production, Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back, will join the entertainment lineup.
Two new anchor shows will also debut. Bollywood Idol follows two brothers who take different paths in life, combining music, dance and drama, while Bank Heist brings acrobatics and action inspired by a true-crime storyline.
The popular Slam show will return, while children can watch Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre.
Improved Visitor Facilities
Global Village is also introducing a VIP Parking Self-Payment system and additional Family POD Washrooms.
The venue has upgraded directional signage and expanded Happiness Gate ticket counters to improve arrival and parking experiences.
New bilingual Gate of the World signs in Arabic and English have also been installed.
Visitors will additionally have access to a new WhatsApp Chatbot for quick information and support during their visit.
